Have You Ever Heard Of OoVoo?
Move over Skype here comes OoVoo! Just when I was vaguely getting started with Skype, I was introduced to OoVoo by a very dear friend 3 days ago. It’s very user friendly if I can say so. It has been fun being able to chat with the other person and they can actually see you making faces and clowning around. If you are a visual person like me you will enjoy having conversations and actually viewing the other person. You’ll look and sound your best with ooVoo’s high quality audio and video, incomparable by the competition.
So, if you are conscious about appearance, look out ooVoo will show all! Been there!
Wikipedia defines ooVoo as an audio and video instant messaging client software developed by ooVoo LLC. compatible with Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. and is similar to Apple’s iChat, and Skype. Calls can be recorded in real time and six-way video chatting is supported. OoVoo provides real-time comments and warnings about performance and usage, and has a connection speed display that gives an indication of latency. The company website claims that 8 out of 10 Skype users prefer ooVoo.
This is how I was introduced to ooVoo by a click of a link. If your friend doesn’t have ooVoo, you can have a free browser-based chat with them by sending your exclusive Web Video Call link through email, IM or through your favorite social networking. In a single click, your friend joins you in a live online video chat on their browser and all they need is a web camera and an internet connection. This exclusive functionality gives you the freedom to talk to your contacts quickly, without any downloads. It does not get better than that. Even if your friend doesn’t have a video camera, you can still have a 1-way video chat and hear your friend’s voice over IP. (Internet Protocol)
OoVoo offers the ability to video chat face-to-face with family and friends, anytime and anywhere. With ooVoo you can have free video chats one-to-one, or have a group video chat with up to 6 people at once! OoVoo is easy to use and offers features that allows you to connect, engage and experience the benefit of being together over ooVoo. Definitely a great source of technology for those who have a home based business. You can conduct: pow wow’s, coaching, mentoring, training and sharing blogging techniques etc. with ooVoo.
Oovoo is also a great source for business purposes as well. OoVoo can be used for online contacting web conferencing, web presentations, online training and remote support. With multipoint video conference, teleconference, and a suite of additional features, ooVoo allows businesses to connect with colleagues and contacts and reduce expense and time on travel.

Great post Ilene…
Oovoo is a great tool. The feature
that I love the most is that you can
record the video calls for free, where
on Skype you have to use a paid software.
I’ll look for you on there
